About the Baker

Our baker grew up in the south spending summer vacations with her grandmother on her farm, milking cows, making butter, and sampling recipes passed down through generations. The tea cake recipe was her favorite! She baked tea cakes with her “Granny Aaron” every chance she got, which led to her passion for baking. She experimented with pound cake recipes, and eventually layer cakes. She baked them for family, friends, and co-workers, and her cakes were said to be the “Best in town.” Given a few life events and several years post retirement, she continues to spread love with every slice of cake, and they remain the “Best in town!”
